For the endurance athlete, a GPS watch is indeed an importance device, just as essential as a drug free supplement for increasing performance. It's truly amazing what modern technology can do to help an athlete, legally and without side effects!

I'm that realtor and I always told myself I didn't need one of those darn GPS things; I know the city I live in... well as I sit and eat crow the Garmin Nuvi I purchased has certainly saved me and my various clients countless hours. Thanks for the great website.

UPDATE: Just an update on the Garmin Astro collars: I found out today that Garmin is about to launch the DC-30 Collar with will be a new lighter and better balanced collar for your dog. Instead of having to use a counterweight to keep the antenna pointed skyward, the new collar at about 8 ounces will be much more practical and durable for hunting.

The DC-30 collar for the Garmin Astro Dog GPS trackin system will retail for $199, but Garmin will offer a $50 rebate if you are migrating from the DC-20 (limited time only, of course). Watch for it!

I agree with the usefulness of the Virtual partner functions. I would say that I use this feature more than any other, as I can just take a quick look at my watch and know whether to hit the gas or the brakes.
